As Charleston personal injury lawyers, the attorneys at Anderson & Schuster, Attorneys at Law, LLC often see firsthand the devastating effects that injuries from a car accident can have on a person or a family. It is our job to be a voice for an injured client or the beneficiaries of someone that has lost their life. When acting on behalf of clients we strive to provide personal service that is tailored to individual client needs, while trying to recover fair compensation for the injuries and experiences our clients have lived through. We hope that if you find yourself wondering what to do or in pain after the death of a loved one, an accident, or some other instance where you have been injured because of the recklessness or negligence of another party, that you will consider allowing our law firm to take your hand and guide you.
As we have discussed in previous posts, South Carolina experiences about 800 fatalities each year. This year, Families of Highway Fatalities and the American Red Cross are asking that people remember those lost by giving the gift of life by donating blood. Donors are able to give blood from Monday, December 28, 2015 to Thursday, December 31, 2015 at five Red Cross donation centers in Charleston (Mount Pleasant and West Ashley), Columbia, Florence and Myrtle Beach. If you choose to donate blood, you will receive a long-sleeve Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last.
Many people don't know that the need for donated blood is constant. Trauma patients like those seriously injured in accidents, heart surgery patients, organ transplant patients, as well others receiving treatment for other diseases depend on a readily available supply of blood. The only way to ensure that there is enough is to donate. Therefore, we hope that people take time out of their days to give back to their community by giving the gift of life and donating blood at a donation center listed below.
Donors can make appointments to give blood and platelets at five locations:
Columbia Blood Donation Center
2751 Bull St., Columbia
Florence Blood Donation Center
1555 W. Palmetto St., Florence
Mount Pleasant Blood Donation Center
920 Houston Northcutt Blvd., Mount Pleasant
Myrtle Beach Blood Donation Center
3681 Renee Drive, Unit #4, Myrtle Beach
West Ashley Blood Donation Center
2000 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Charleston
